Envirolok Featured in the September/ October issue of Erosion Control Magazine

Check out the feature article Soil Solutions by writer Barbara Hesselgrave in the September/ October issue of Erosion Control Magazine. The article details how the Envirolok system was used to stabilize a continually eroding slope that spans along a heavily used trail system in the town of Oakville, Ontario. The award-winning project is a great example of how Envirolok combines the patented tan bag technology with engineered soil and native vegetation to provide a low-impact, sustainable and cost-effective solution that will stand the test of time.

In addition to the featured project the article focuses on other Envirolok applications, such as stormwater channels and shoreline restoration, as well as an in-depth look at methods of vegetating Envirolok units, such as Hydroseed applications, live planting and Agrecol’s Native Vegetated Mat.
